Horton stands on podium in season opener at West Georgia

The 2021 season got underway for Austin Horton on Saturday night at West Georgia Speedway (Whitesburg, Ga.), as he returned behind the wheel of the Franklin Enterprises No. 16 Late Model. Following the fourth fastest lap in a field of 14 cars in time trials, Horton posted a third-place finish in the feature, trailing Blant Duke and Michael Page to the checkers. Jake Traylor and Marty Massey completed the Top-5 finishers in the 20-lap affair.
