Sixth-place finish in Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia Raceway

On Saturday afternoon Austin Horton returned to action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for the sixth annual Billy Clanton Classic. Drawing 33 Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals entries, Horton followed up the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group with a third place finish in his heat race. Earning the ninth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Austin clawed forward three spots in the 60-lap affair to finish sixth.
