June 1, 2019 - Runner-up Finish in NLMSCS Action at Senoia Raceway
On Saturday night Austin Horton was one of 31 National Late Model Super Car Series (NLMSCS) entries signed in at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the $3,000 top prize. Following the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Horton worked his way up to 2nd place finish in the 50-lap feature trailing Clint Smith to the checkers with Michael Page, Dalton Cook, and Chaz Haskins rounding out the Top-5.

May 18, 2019 - Horton Taken Out While Leading at Senoia Raceway
Austin Horton invaded Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned program. In a field of 27 cars, Horton laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying positioning him on the pole for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. After jumping out to an early race lead, Austin was taken out by a lapped car on the eighth lap that ended his night immediately.

April 27, 2019 - Austin Horton Captures Opener at TST, Places 3rd With Southern All Stars on Saturday
On Friday evening Austin Horton visited Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) piloting his Super K Express #16 Super Late Model entry for the weekend opener. Wheeling his way to his third win of the season in the feature, Horton topped Josh Adkins, Dallas Cooper, and Jadon Frame, and Dillon Tidmore in the 30-lapper. He pocketed a $2,000 payday.

Returning on Saturday for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned contest, Austin registered the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Brandon Overton positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the $4,000-to-win finale. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Horton posted a 3rd place spot behind Overton and Ashton Winger with Kyle Beard and Riley Hickman rounding out the Top-5 finishers.

April 13, 2019 - Horton Leads Flag-to-Flag at Senoia for Second Straight Win
Saturday saw Austin Horton return to action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) competing in the Limited Late Model ranks for the regular night of racing. With 12 cars on hand, Horton topped the charts in qualifying earning him the pole position for the A-Main. Leading flag-to-flag, Austin cruised to his second win of the season over Clint Smith, Jacques Daniel, Matt Dooley, and Rucker Orr. He earned a $1,000 payday.

April 6, 2019 - Austin Horton Captures First Win of the Season at Senoia Raceway
Austin Horton conquered his first feature event of the 2019 campaign on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway. The triumph came behind the wheel of his Vape’s Gone Wild #16 Wood Motorsports/ Orr’s Towing/ Super K Express/ XR1 Rocket Chassis by Clint Smith/ Bobby Thomas Racing Engine Limited Late Model and was worth $1,000.

“It feels great to get our first win of the year, and the first with this particular car,” Horton commented. “I feel like I’ve let a couple of wins get away from me so far this year, so it was definitely a confidence booster to get the win. It was also really nice to get to race close to home with so many friends and family around. Last but not least I want to thank Bobby Thomas for providing with an awesome powerplant for the event. That engine ran flawless all night.”

Austin entered the $1,000-to-win, K-Mac Electric Limited Late Model event on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia). A stout field of 21 competitors registered for action, and via preliminary action Horton earned the pole for the feature event. He went on to capitalize on his starting spot to lead every lap of the finale.

Travis Pennington, Dalton Cook, Russ Ogletree and Dusty Jones completed the Top-5 finishers at the 3/8-mile oval.

March 30, 2019 - 5th Place Finish in Spring Nationals event at Talladega Short Track
Austin Horton followed the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals series to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Friday evening competing in a field of 29 cars. Coming in fifth in his qualifying group, Horton went on to pick up an 8-lap heat race victory locking him into the 9th-starting position for the opening feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Austin jumped up four spots reeling in a 5th place finish behind Dale McDowell, Donald McIntosh, Tanner English, and Joseph Brown.

The following night at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia), Austin laid down the fastest time overall in his qualifying group before picking up a heat race win. Earning the pole position for the $10,000-to-win finale, Horton dropped seven spots in the 60-lap affair to place 8th.

March 23, 2019 - Top 10 Finish with Spring Nationals at Cochran Motor Speedway
On Saturday night Austin Horton was one of 23 Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals series entries signed in at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the $10,000 top prize. Following the sixth fastest time overall in qualifying, Horton logged a 5th place finish in his heat positioning him 19th on the starting grid for the main event. Breaking into the Top-10, Austin advanced through the field nine spots to place 10th.

March 16, 2019 - Podium Finish in Southeastern Classic at Dixie Speedway
Saturday night saw Austin Horton return to action at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Southeastern Classic. Drawing 23 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned event, Horton registered the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying locking him into the 4th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Improving one spot in the 50-lap affair, Austin scored a 3rd place finish behind Donald McIntosh and Shane Clanton with Tyler Millwood and Cla Knight completing the Top-5 finishers.

January 29, 2019 - Exciting Slate Planned for Austin Horton in 2019
Austin Horton is busily preparing his equipment for an aggressive 2019 season. He has a wide variety of Dirt Late Model events planned for what will likely be his most ambitious schedule to date.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming season,” Horton said. “We are currently finalizing our schedule, but our main goal is to enter any touring series event that makes sense for us. If it’s a big race close to our area, then chances are really good we are going to enter it this year.”

Horton’s 2019 schedule will include events with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals, Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals, Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series, Ultimate Super Late Model Series, World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

“We’ve got a lot of good pieces in place, and we’ve learned a lot over the past few years as we got our feet wet in the Super Late Model ranks,” Horton commented. “With that said we are still looking to add marketing partners on all levels to our team, so that we can branch out more. Any new sponsorship will only aid in the progress and growth of our team.”

January 6, 2019 - Horton Bags Podium Finish in Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track
Austin Horton invaded Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Saturday kicking off the 2019 season with the 28th annual Ice Bowl. With 42 Super Late Models on hand, Horton timed in second fastest overall in qualifying behind J.T. Seawright before charging to a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the 2nd-starting position for the $6,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday, Austin dropped one spot in the 50-lapper notching a 3rd place finish behind Michael Page and Ray Cook with Dallas Cooper and Joseph Brown completing the Top-5 finishers. December 19, 2018 - Austin Horton Tallies Seven Win 2018 Season
The 2018 season saw Austin Horton compete in a total of 35 events where he visited victory lane six times aboard his Wood Motorsports #16 Super K Express/ XR1 Rocket Chassis by Clint Smith Racing Late Model. With the weather determining the outcome of seven of his scheduled dates, Horton collected 19 Top-10 outings and 17 Top-5 finishes.

November 24, 2018 - Horton Visits Cochran Motor Speedway for Gobbler 100
On Friday evening Austin Horton invaded Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks for the Gobbler 100. Drawing 39 National Late Model Super Car Series (NLMSCS) entries for the $10,000 top prize, Horton got caught in a tangle in his heat that prevented from qualifying for the 100-lap feature on Saturday night.

In the Crate Late Model division, Austin secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events but Mother Nature eventually washed out the finale.

October 20, 2018 - Top 5 Finish with Southern Nationals Bonus Series at Senoia Raceway
Friday night found Austin Horton in action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) pulling double duty for the Showdown at Senoia. In a field of 30 Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series entries, Horton edged his way into the opening night feature with the 6th and final transfer spot in his heat. With $4,000 on the line, Austin gained three spots in the 40-lapper to place 19th.

In the Limited Late Model ranks, Horton landed a 7th place finish in the feature.

Returning on Saturday night for the $6,000 top prize, Austin locked his spot into the finale via qualifying. Reeling in a Top-5 finish, Horton notched a 5th place spot behind Tyler Erb, Michael Page, Casey Roberts, and Tyler Millwood.

October 13, 2018 - Horton Visits Talladega Short Track for DLCS and SAS Weekend
Austin Horton was one of 38 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series signed in at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Friday night for the $2,000 top prize. Following the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group, Horton captured a 10-lap B-Main victory positioning him 13th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Returning on Saturday night competing with the Southern All Star Series, Horton earned the 2nd-starting position for the $4,200-to-win B.J. Parker Memorial via preliminary events. Jumping out to the lead early, Austin held the top spot for the first 9 circuits until he made contact with a lap-car sending him spinning. He salvaged a 20th place outing in the 42-lap affair.

September 30, 2018 - 12th Place Finish in Dixie Shootout at Dixie Speedway
Saturday night saw Austin Horton return to action at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Dixie Shootout. In a field of 44 cars, Austin scored a 3rd place finish in his heat locking him into the 10th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $12,000 on the line, Horton dropped two spots in the 50-lap affair to place 12th.

The following night at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Rome Showdown, Horton recorded a 7th place finish in his heat giving him one more shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance.
